Norman W. Ickert DMD; General Dentist
My Dental Journey
My dental journey began in 1982 upon graduating from UBC. The first 10 years were spent pursuing knowledge from various mentors. In 1992, I met Dr. John Kois in Seattle, who inspired a thirst and passion, based on scientific evidence, to understand dentistry at an unprecedented level. This intensive growth curve has continued for the next three decades, culminating in becoming a clinical instructor, guest faculty member, and scientific advisor for Dental Implants at the Kois Center in Seattle.
Some other achievements include: Director of the Ickert Dental Implant Center, Master’s Degree in Oral Medicine/Implantology, University of Muenster, Germany; member of the prestigious American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. I am deeply indebted to the amazing mentors on whose shoulders I stand.
My Experience With Dental Implants
After placing 10,000 dental implants, much is to be learned…mostly humility. My passion is to use this knowledge and experience, combined with newer technologies, to provide the best possible patient-centred outcomes. My desire is to always be transparent, trustworthy and fully stand behind all treatment performed.
