What Is Periodontal Disease?
Periodontal diseases are a multitude of conditions affecting gums and bone that surround and support the teeth. They are commonly caused by improper oral care, some systemic illnesses as well as trauma and can result in tooth and bone loss.
Gum Graft
Gum grafting procedures help patients with gum recession. This treatment helps alleviate various issues associated with gum recession, such as teeth sensitivity, damage to gum tissue, and bone loss and eventual tooth loss. Gum grafting can protect teeth and their roots from decay and create a more even gumline.
Scaling And Root Planing
Scaling and root planing procedure is performed to treat gum diseases. It removes dental tartar from the surfaces of your teeth and smoothens the root surfaces by removing any infected tooth structure.
Regenerative Procedure
Complete oral rehabilitation may require regenerative procedures to get you the function and aesthetics you are looking for. These procedures can fall under the sub categories of Hard or Soft tissue regeneration or a combination of both. Our doctors are well versed …
Crown Lengthening
A crown lengthening procedure involves reshaping gum tissue, bone, or both to expose more of a tooth. Crown lengthening is a common procedure for patients with a “gummy smile,” where excessive gum tissue around upper teeth makes teeth appear short. This treatment is also for patients who need to fix a tooth that broke off at or below the gumline, or to replace a filling or a crown that fell out. Crown lengthening exposes more of the tooth surface and allows your dentist to remove the tooth decay underneath or to place a crown.
Pocket Reduction Surgery
Pocket reduction surgery is a standard treatment for patients with periodontal disease. This condition causes deterioration of gum tissue and bone along the gumline, resulting in the formation of “pockets” around the teeth. As these pockets become larger, more bacteria get around the teeth and under the gum tissue, leading to further loss of bone and gum tissue until the tooth is lost. If your pockets are too deep to clean with a routine cleaning procedure, you will need a pocket reduction surgery. During the surgery, your dentist will remove the bacteria from the pockets and the tartar from the surface of teeth roots.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are installed to replace teeth lost due to a disease or accident. Dental implants can replace a single tooth or several teeth or to support other dental fixtures. They secure dentures and bridges in place and prevent them from shifting in your mouth, even when eating or talking. With dental implants, your dentures can feel more natural and comfortable compared to traditional ones, which often cause sore spots or have poor ridges. With implants, no adjacent teeth need to be ground down to hold artificial teeth in place.
Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Extractions may be needed for patients with wisdom teeth. This may be done as a preventative procedure, or it may be performed because the teeth are infected or impacted. For patients with complex extraction cases, we offer various sedation options to help make it more comfortable.

Guided Implant Surgery:
At Apple Dental Implant Centre, guided implant surgery stands out for its remarkable precision. It begins with a comprehensive planning process using a cutting-edge CBCT scanner and intraoral scanners. This helps create detailed 3D images of your teeth and jawbone. These images help in the creation of a custom surgical guide tailored specifically for your case. During the surgery at Apple Dental Implant Centers, this guide is used to ensure that the implants are placed with extreme precision, at the right locations, depths, and angles. This precision often results in a faster recovery and may even eliminate the need for sutures after surgery. Most patients at Apple Dental Implant Centre opt for guided surgery where they can, especially considering the benefits such as minimal downtime and potential suture-free recovery
Freehand Surgery:
Don’t let the term “freehand” confuse you. Dentists at Apple Dental Implant Centre who use this approach are experts in their field. They plan your surgery carefully, using CBCT scans and 3D intraoral scans, ensuring the highest level of precision. Before modern technology, freehand surgery was the usual way to place dental implants with an almost equally high success rate. It’s also important to note that all dentists at Apple Dental Implant Centre are experts in both freehand and guided surgery. They have the skills and experience to offer you the best treatment options based on your specific needs and case.
