Dr. Gabor Balogh brings his love of dentistry to his job every day. With combined experience and skill, he is providing the most advanced dentistry available! He obtained an Honors BSc in Chemistry at the University of Western Ontario and a DDS in 1985. He finished The Misch Implant Institute in 1993 and started his practice in West Vancouver in 1995 with a focus on implantology and cosmetics.
Dr. Balogh is a certified provider in intravenous and oral conscious sedation from the University of Alberta. He is also a founding member and past president of the Vancouver Oral Implantology Surgical Seminars. He currently has over 1,500 hours of continuing education in all phases of dentistry.
Dr. Balogh is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has been awarded a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. Dr. Balogh is a clinical instructor at the Vancouver AAID Maxicourse.
Dr. Balogh has four children, two boys and two girls. In his spare time, he enjoys flying airplanes, skiing, camping, hiking, enduro motorcycle riding, and scuba diving.

Dr. Todd Slogocki Comes From Small Town Roots In Saskatchewan.
He Graduated From The University Of Saskatchewan College Of Dentistry And Practiced In The Lower Mainland For 12 Years As A General Dentist. He Chose To Return To Full Time Academics And Completed A Prosthodontic Residency Program At Louisiana State University In New Orleans, Louisiana.
This Is A Full-Time 3 Year Residency Program, With Teaching Responsibilities, Advanced Patient Care And Research.
To Be A Certified Specialist In Canada, Among Attending An Accredited 3-Year Residency Program, An Extensive Written And Oral Examination Must Be Passed Demonstrating Mastery In All Aspects Of Prosthodontics Including Fixed Prosthodontics, Complete And Removable Dentures, Dental Implant Supported Prosthesis, And Maxillofacial Prosthodontics.
Having Successfully Passed And Satisfied The Criteria Dr. Slogocki is A Fellow Of The Royal College Of Dental Surgeons Of Canada, Being Recognized As Certified Specialist In Prosthodontics. He Mentors Study Clubs, Excelling In Teaching Advanced Topics To Smaller Groups. He Has Published Articles On Esthetics, And Technology. He Has A Special Interest In Occlusion, Complex Interdisciniplary Cases, Fixed And Implant Rehabilitations, But Especially Working With Patients To Find Solutions To Their Problems.
He Has Completed Numerous Full Mouth Rehabilitations, Implant Retained Rehabilitations, Complex And Challenging Aesthetics Cases And Bite (Occlusal) Problems.
He Spends Much Of His Spare Time With His Family, Occasionally Finding Time To Play Some Golf And Tennis. He Also Enjoys Reading, With Music Being A Relatively New Passion Having Taken Up The Piano.
Certified Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Treasure was born in Toronto, raised in Markham, Ontario and attended the University of Toronto-Faculty of Dentistry, graduating in 1986. After 4 years of general dentistry, Dr. Treasure entered the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, graduating with his medical degree in 1993 and subsequently completed his surgical residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in 1996. Dr. Treasure has over 30 years experience in dental, medical and surgical practice, including over 10 years experience as an academic faculty surgeon at the University of Texas and Indiana University.
Dr. Treasure is a Fellow and Certified Specialist in Canada under the Royal College of Dentists (RCDC). Dr. Treasure has been Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the USA since 1998. Dr. Treasure has a dozen publications in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to contemporary surgery textbooks. Dr. Treasure served as an Editorial Board member and award winning peer reviewer (AAOMS Top Reviewer 2013 and 2015) for journal manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Treasure interests include office-based anesthesia, jaw reconstruction for dental implants, facial soft-tissue rejuvenation surgery and craniofacial disorders. Dr. Treasure’s previous research projects and publications have included bone tissue engineering with Bone Morphogenic Protein and stem cell populated scaffolds for critical sized cranial defects. Dr. Treasure has published and lectured internationally on promoting safe office-based anesthesia in dentistry.
Dr. Gill has done much to assist in educating the public about dentistry, from being a featured guest on numerous radio and television talk shows to creating and hosting The Dental Show, a radio call-in program in Vancouver. He has been and continues to be an adviser, clinical tester, and consultant for selected dental laboratories and dental materials companies. He is a technical adviser for dental office software.
Dr. Gill has been performing difficult cosmetic and surgical cases since 1996, combining his expertise in orthodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and implantology to create natural smiles. Dr. Gill has worked with 11 different Vancouver and Lower Mainland dental offices last year, performing extractions as well as placing implants, bone grafting, and assisting dentists in learning about new implant and restoration techniques.
Dr. Gill has been working with implants since 1993 and has taken many lectures and hands-on courses on implants, surgery and bone grafting, travelling to the US and to Germany to study with Dr. Paul Weigl at the University of Frankfurt School of Dentistry.
Dr. Wong has many years of experience. His training has given him the opportunity to provide a wide variety of services for his patients.
After graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at The University of British Columbia in 1993, Dr. Wong has committed himself to providing quality dentistry to all patients. He has a passion for making a positive impact on peoples lives.
Patients of all ages receive the comprehensive, experienced care they need from Dr. Wong on a daily basis. He loves treating patients and building lasting relationships with them. He still calls every patient to follow up after visits to see how their experience was!
Dr. Amin Shivji was born in Africa and moved with his family to Vancouver in 1973. In 1989 he graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bsc in Biology and entered the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC, graduating with DMD in 1993.
Since graduating in 1993, he has been practicing dentistry in Vancouver. Dr Shivji has taken additional education and training in numerous post doctoral courses in occlusion (bite), implants, oral conscious sedation, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and laser dentistry.
Dr. Shivji strives to help patients achieve excellent oral health and personalized patient education. Recognizing that oral health can affect other areas of the body, Dr. Shivji evaluates and treats each patient to promote healthy teeth and gums.
Dr Shivji has a wife, Sharon, and two boys and they all love to travel.
